Ferrets need room to run and play. Like other domesticated animals such as dogs and cats, ferrets can be allowed to run around your house under supervision. However, they need to be contained when they’re alone. Therefore, it is very important to pick a spacious ferret cage where your pet wouldn’t mind staying in for a few hours before his next play time.

Find a cage with several doors and tubes/tunnels. You can even put a small hammock inside where he can swing to his heart’s content. Decorate the wall beside his cage with an FRW poster. It also will help establish this spot as his own turf.
