When we decided to get a dog, I didn’t realize it was like having a new baby in the house. Our new pet who we named Marty was very high maintenance. She had to have her own food, her own toys, her own bed, her own “house” and her own grooming kit. Her food was not exactly cheap and her “trims” cost more than mine. But the worst thing was, she seemed to have some fleas or ticks or something. My husband just bought a medicated dog shampoo and it seemed to do the trick.

Marty was fine after a few days. Our son was able to play with her already after that. The medicated dog shampoo worked like magic. It didn’t cost that much too! Marty is now almost eight months, she is noisy and rowdy. She makes a mess everywhere she goes, but we have grown to love her and we now can’t imagine life without her at home.
