Whenever my family goes out on weekends we always visit the flea markets. In one of our weekend trips, we went to an open market that sold everything from clothes to pets. There was a pet shop where the pets were all kept in dog crates by the window. The glass window was huge and all the kids were able to look at the dogs. That’s how we found our pet bulldog. He was all alone in his dog crate staring at us with woeful eyes and begging us to adopt him.

After a few weeks of staring at the bulldog, my son insisted that we buy him. Since it was his seventh birthday, we decided to get him the dog. Our new bulldog arrived home just in time for my son’s birthday. We bought two dog crates for our new dog. One we kept at home and the other at the yard. Our little bulldog stayed with us and became part of our family for five years.
