Dog itchy skin

If you see your dog itching and scratching very frequently, it is a sign that your dog has a skin irritation. Dog itchy skin can mean that ticks, fleas, lice, and other parasites are attacking their skin. Once you see your dog exhibiting this behavior, take them to the vet immediately. It might be some other cause other than a parasite attack.

You can help prevent any skin irritations by giving them the right food. Good grooming is also very important. You can easily see irritants and parasites whenever you give them a good brushing. And sometimes spending too much time outdoors can irritate their skin. Pesticides or some plants that they are allergic to can cause further irritation and dog itchy skin.
