A Little Thanks

I was really touched when my neighbor took the initiative to take my pet in when she saw my dog managing to get out of the house while I was out for work. My neighbor and I are not really close, and the only interaction we get to have is whenever we smile at each other each morning when I run to my car and she will be busy watering plants in her front yard. Other than that, there was nothing else in terms of a relationship except that we live right next to each other.

My pet could have gotten lost or worse got into an accident should he ran off to the street. Since I observed how obsessed my neighbor was when it comes to her garden, I figured I can give her this metal roof wren birdhouse which I also got for my mother to spruce up the look of her space. She was surprised to get something from me considering that we have never really even talked. I guess this is a great beginning to a friendship between two women neighbors.
